Okay, so new year means new goals and whatnot for people...
i have to be honest, i have not started writing any goals for 2011.
i will seriously consider it right now:
- first, i want to lose my stomach fat.
---- what does that mean for me? eating healthier!! i have noticed my eating habits have gone down the drain lately. but omg, it's not my fault the school cafeteria has the best cranberry muffins in the world! i also have been noticing i snack... A LOT. i already exercise but i suppose i will have to kick it up a notch. i don't necessarily want wash-board-abs. just a nice, toned stomach. :)
---- i want to be more creative. i usually associate creativeness with money. why? because of the "supplies" needed. maybe i need to learn that being creative does not require money. in fact, it's quite the opposite. making stuff out of what you already have on hand
is being creative. so get with it, sarah! ;) i think i'm just being lazy and making excuses :]
---- i admire people who are organized. their lives seem to flow so smoothly. i have tried keeping a planner but it never works out. i use it for the first 2 weeks and then i forget about its existence completely. -__- i will try the planner thing again! i want my home to be very organized, as well.
---- i don't know about you, but whenever i see a youtube video it makes me want to make one. i have no idea what i'd talk about or do but i'd really like to put a channel up. also when i'm applying makeup, i find myself narrating what i'm doing in my mind. yes, i know, weird. >.<
- read more books to my kids
---- as sad as it sounds, i have hired a new babysitter... the TV. i know, i know, SUPER BAD! okay, my kids don't watch actually TV, per se, just cartoons on
Netflix. i'm not trying to justify that
Netflix is better, but ... i don't know. i really got to get more involved with my kids. it's hard sometimes because i come home from school and i have to clean, wash dishes, bathe them, feed them, do homework, exercise, etc. so while i am busy doing chores, that's when i call "the sitter". very, very bad and unacceptable. rather putting on the TV, i will play music or let them paint, play, scream, shout. anything other than turning on the TV. and i want my kids to grow up loving to read. that's why i have to be more organized with my time so i can squeeze time in to read to them.
i believe that's it for goals/resolutions i have.
pretty short and simple, i think.
Oh, yes. and kudos to anyone who was born Year of the RABBIT!!! woo-hoo!!!
i love the chinese zodiac. i think i fit perfectly as a rabbit.
rabbits rock and don't let dragons tell you any different. >:) (i married a dragon)
besides, rabbits are soft and cuddly. you can't cuddle with a dragon!
and please, if you're a dragon, please don't come after me with pitch forks. <:)
peace and love, people :)
